Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
I have very rocky soil (boulders!) I want to grow my melons vertically. I
bought some morterless block, each measuring 16 X 8 X 6. Can I make the
planter/ raised bed only one block high? If vertical melons usually get
1/2 square at a deeper depth, can my depth be more shallow (6 inches) and
my width 16 inches instead of 12 inches? Also, would sugar baby watermelons
get 1 or 1/2 a square? Thanks for the help.
