Re: Container Gardening......

Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

I used to container garden exclusively because I just had a concrete
patio. I grew tomatoes (even the big indeterminate ones), cukes,
zuccini, flowers, herbs and beans in them. I even had a dwarf lemon
tree in a half barrel. You can buy the half whisky barrels in nurseries
or you can use large self-watering types of containers called Space Box.
Let me know privately if you want the info for this company. (No, I
don't work for them.) I think the barrels are 20 or 30 per. If you go
with the barrels, I suggest you also get a coaster type of thing to put
the barrel on that has rollers on it. Full of potting soil (or potting
soil plus a little good quality regular soil) is very heavy so the
rolling elevated coasters really help. Good luck!
