Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Hello all! I've been lurking in this list for a couple of weeks now. Time
to introduce myself and let you know what you've inspired me to do. DH Phil
and I decided we wanted to grow a garden this year.... I've been learning to
can, and we love fresh veggies. I'd read on another list of someone that
used this method of gardening, and swore by it. Bought the book, sounded
logical. So, I wanted to do our garden this way. DH said no, he wanted to
do it "like Daddy's garden was..." Solution? This year, we'll have two
gardens!
We had them plowed by a friend, then took the rototiller to them. His is
ready to plant, but my work had just started! Anyway, they look good, and
I'm hoping for the best. Planted a few squared tonight, may do some more
tomorrow. Great information here, and I'm willing to share my (meager)
experience or accept advice from any of you SF'ers out there! Thanks for
the nudge in the right direction!
DebbieT
