A little warm weather sounds great. We're blessed with good soil - sandy loam, pH =7.0, but we had 34 F this morning. I won't be putting my warm weather seedlings out until Memorial Day.
By the way, I'm still getting 100 percent germanation from some New Zealand heirloom tomato seeds that Doreen Howard sent me back in 1998 (1997 harvest)! The daughter seeds that I've saved from each successive generation are germanating at 95-100 percent, too.
