Here in Houston it has been a really warm spring, temps around 90. But this morning I awoke to mid-sixties temps and I'll be damned, the eggplant seedlings weren't drooping! I've got a lot of blooms on my tomatoes, maybe some of them will set. After conforming to square foot this year, I realize that I don't need much space, in fact, it's kind of fun seeing what one can get away with in a 4'x4'. I'm looking forward to retilling, then hand digging and mixing <lots> of organic matter into my clay. I'd like to approximate the trench I made with Mel's soil mix in it that houses my muskmelons. Clay abatement continues. _______________________________________________ Sqft-l mailing list Sqft-l@xena.pkiclue.com http://xena.pkiclue.com/mailman/listinfo/sqft-l
