Re: seedling question


Hello 

I agree about the light but I transplant my cukes
every year. I do dirt and hydroponic gardening and
start my plants in small containers filled with a
starting mix. For dirt I plant mix and all while in
hydroponics I generally wash the mix off and bare root
them. 

In all fairness I must add that cukes are very fragile
critters and care must be taken to consider their
growing environment when moving. Warmth and moisture
are a must with minimal disturbance of roots as they
tend to break off from the stem very easily.
