soil preparation
Hello Everyone !
I am new to square foot gardening - well - I'm new to even having a yard (
just so you know how basic I am... ) and my husband and I have just finished
building and burying ( very shallow ) our wooden frames for our beds. What
a weekend ! Anyway. My question is about making the recipe for the 'dirt'.
According to the sqft website and book, it says equal parts
peat/compost/coarse vermiculite. My question is, does the peat have to be
moistened before using ( eek ! ) or can it be used dry and then watered in
with the other components upon completion to ready the bed.
