Whoa.......!
Growing like crazy and everything taking over everything. Southern Zone 8
Got the book.....followed the instructions.....so far just amused.....my
beds really look really really crowded. They are 4' x 12' . The only
plants that look reasonable are the Swiss Chard, Spinach, B peppers.
The tomatoes (1 per sft) are just a solid mass that your hand can barely
pass through. Yesterday while futilely searching for suckers I thought
maybe I should have been looking in a mirror instead. The two egg plants
(1 per sft) are being enveloped by the bush beans and at the other end the
squash & zucchini well let's just say they're in charge of that end and I'm
not going over there!
One positive though from a short distance my garden sure is pretty.
Next year and later this year I'll be a little more selective in my seed
choices to say the least. Another positive weeds are easy to
manage....hell they're scared to death of the squash and tomatoes.
Having fun with it......but sure glad the super market is still open.
