My suggestion is to find a cooperative professional who has access to an accurate scale. Measure and weigh once mark the container and never worry about it again. There must be a meat market or other store willing to be helpful. If all else fails go to your local drug dealer, he/she will have a triple beam scale you can use. Or if you have a cop friend they may have one available. Just build a crude balnce scale. Use a piece of wood. Attach a tuna can to each end. Find the balance point. Drill a hole through the wood at the balance point. Find somthing like candy or something that is 2.5oz.put it in the can on one end, then fill the other end until it balances.
