Wind & hard rain will damage plossums and postpone pollination. Your plants
many need protection. I once lost two weeks on a row of cantaloupe from a
hard hot wind that just burn the blossoms off. Waiting two weeks longer for
a ripe cantaloupe is torture. Good luck
