I've been noticing a general increase in wind starting last year. I'm in
eastern pa and it just seems to be windy more often. Last year it blew
down my 4X8 lattice vertical supports and ripped the 4X4 squares out of
the ground.

This year I'm trying bamboo a frames with weights near the bottoms of
the legs.
