I am lucky to live in Northern Virginia, near the greenhouses of Thomas DiBaggio, a renowned authority on basil. He sells at least a dozen varieties of basil, five or six kinds of oregano, etcetera etcetera..... Unfortunately he doesn't do mail order, but my point is---there are small specialty nurseries and a lot of them DO do mail order. Get a copy of the Herb Companion--a really nice magazine on herbs and check the ads. Good luck--but watch out, once that gardening bug bites you're hooked for life! Lisa (Who is hoping that Sarah (age 2) will hurry up and grow up so she can help her mommy in the garden--meanwhile I'm just hoping the other community gardeners will understand!) *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe, send to: listserv@umslvma.umsl.edu the body message: unsubscribe sqft See http://www.umsl.edu/~silvest/garden/sqft.html for archive, FAQ and more.
