wax beans

I am trying wax beans for the first time (Golden Roma II).  The beans are
just beginning to mature but they are not yellow.  Instead, they are a pale
green to light white color.  All the bean pods started a standard color
green but have lightened in color as they have matured.

Is this normal for wax beans?  Are they supposed to be yellow or just a
pale color of green?
