Kitty and Deane, if you find out why your roses are dying back from the ends,
would you E-mail the answer to me too, as the same thing happened to me this
year. This has never happened before to me. My apids are reasonable enough
not to worrry about and I have no powdery mildew but I have so much blackspot
from this winter that I have hardly any leaves. But the roses are blooming
away like mad, I hope the blooms don't sap too much strenght from the plants
with so few leaves left.
