An idea I saw somewhere was to use a roll of paper towels or other absorbent paper that comes in a long length (perhaps Toilet Paper??) and space the seed at the correct sowing distances on the dampened paper, fold the paper over, roll up and leave to germinate. Then take the whole roll to the garden, roll out, cover with soil and leave to grow. Saves any thinning, or planting individual sprouted seed. Regards, Noel.
