Cucumber help

About two weeks ago I planted several cucumber seedlings in my bed.  I
covered them from the sun for 3-4 days and they looked like they were
doing well, putting out new growth etc.  However, recently the leaves
are starting to look whitish instead of a nice green color.  We have had a
lot of rain recently.  Could this be causing it or is it more likely a
 nutritional
problem?

Any help for a beginning sqft gardener is appreciated!!
