I have two questions for you experienced gardners.  What kind of
mulch would you use on veggie gardens?  I've used coco shells on
flowers and herbs but it will be rather expensive for my raised beds.
Also, I've noticed that my beet tops are turning brown but there are
new green ones coming from the center.  Is this normal?
