Just for clarification, did you just follow the SFG guidelines for spacing?
Or did you also do all you could to increase germination %s? Soaking the
seeds in a paper towel overnight helps dramatically, as does the
scarification of hard seeds. I use a piece of sandpaper turned inside out
and placed in a jar.
