Nothing is good to be "washing" into the Groundwater! But the
GlycoPhosphate is what everyone complains about. In all the Alarmist stuff
that gets sent to me I have never seen anything about the Inert Ingredients.
Vinegar does work sometimes. But you don't want that "washing" into the
groundwater either! If you are concerned about your impact on the rest of
the world you would be better advised to use whatever you use with
discretion than to think of something as "Safe" and use with abandon.
A sense of proportion is a wonderful thing. I have a close friend who was
fired from her job at a Garden center because she wouldn't let folk buy
Dursban for household use. She feels it was worth it, but she continues to
buy and use cigarettes, in spite of the fact that tobacco growers are one
of the largest users of Dursban... go figure...
Standard Disclaimer for those who don't get it:
-I do not use Dursban on my garden, Victoria. Leave my child out of this-
Thank You.
