My understanding is that the _inactive_ ingredients are also not
really good stuff to be washing into the groundwater, and that they
take longer to break down.

So I'd recommend (to the original poster) against using it, but then
again, I use Raid when I find ants in the house, so who am I to talk?

On the other hand, you might want to do a little research, or try
one squirt on one plant and wait a little while for resprouting,
to make sure that the stuff will do the job on the weed you're
fighting. It'd be a shame to compromise your organic principles and
not actually get anything out of it.
