I have some new sunflower seeds (one is the Russian Mammoth) and the packets say
to plant them 2 inches apart, which surprised me because I was thinking they were
so big they would need more space.
But, don't sunflowers have an alleopathic effect--that is, aren't they supposed to
inhibit the growth of other plants around them? That's what I've heard on other
lists.
