And all others on the list...After thinking on it for a while, I
backed out on the cinder block plan for the same reasons, mainly too hard
to make level (among other reasons, like weight, etc,) If I were to do
blocks perfectly level, I think I would remove about two inches of earth
and back fill with sand. Sand is much easier to level, and you can "play"
with it easier to get it just right. BTW, I ended up using oak logs in a
stockade fashion buried in about a four inch wide, four inch deep trench.
The logs were very uneven on top, but I can always take a chain saw to the
tops if I'm feeling anal about it some day...:-)
