Re: Concrete Blocks et al

Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html

Unfortunately hay bales won't work. They're too big. The borders need
to be replaced in both front and back with a narrow size space. Most of
the area is the size of 4x4" wood blocks. There's a driveway and a
sprinkler system on either sides of the borders, so I can't go wider
than they already are.

Does anyone have experience with plastic lumber? I've heard of it, but
have never know anyone to sell it around here or to have used it in
their yards.

I like the suggestion someone made of the half size concrete blocks.
That might work, as I think a full size concrete block would be too
large for the area. Do I just put them end to end, or do I have to use
mortar between the blocks. They don't have to be real secure, just keep
the dirt from washing out.

Thanks again everyone
