Sounds pretty chemical-y to me, and the current owner of the brand is
Scotts, definitely a chemical house.
Interestingly enough, Osmocote has been mentioned several times over on the
Organic Gardening List, and nobody there challenged its use. And those
folks are fanatics! >>
Does *sound* chemical-y! But it doesn't mean it is or isn't so. I don't
know whether Osmocote is considered organic or not, but all of the above
chemicals can be found naturally (i.e. organic)...as opposed to created (i.e.
non-organic).
