New to this

Hello to all,

I am new to this square foot thing.  I know not what I do.  Ordered th
book but had to do something before the book came in or find myself in
the lock up ward.

I live in a rented duplex and it has been several years since I had the
opportunity to garden.  Because I rent I have little space and
opportunity to really get into gardening, but decided I was not going to
let another summer go without working outside.  I don't much care what I
grow...I am just going to grow something.

I am leaning toward an herb garden and one of oldfashioned  annuals and
climbers.  I'll see what happens from there.  I'll just keep going until
the landlord says stop...right out into the street.  Loved gardening in
the past.  Very much enjoyed gardening from seed...went out one night
with a flashlight to see if anything else had sprouted.

HOpe you can tolerate a novice  such as I and offer any suggestions.
