Well I have not experienced this reaction to horse manure at all even when I
have had to give antibiotic injections to my mare - when the manure is fresh
or hot the worms don't seem to hang around very long ( maybe it burns them
too??? )but after it has aged for a short while or so. They tend to come out
in abundance.... just my own experience. As far as bunny poop goes though
the earthworms don't seem to avoid the fresh stuff at all and really are
abundant and lots of them. Have you ever noticed that they seem to like damp
cardboard as well? I am not sure why this is but just one of the things I
have observed in the past.
