Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
I've never "square foot gardened" before but my husband happened to make 4'
beds for my vegetable garden out of scrap wood, so I thought hey great!
But I haven't really figured out a couple of things about the system as far
as planting.
What stuff can I double up on in the same square? I've seen repeated
lettuce and pepper / tomato / eggplant combinations, what else can I do?
Is the rule of thumb: something quick, small, and non-root harvested
combined with a longer growth, bigger, root harvested plant.
Any suggestions would be great.
Kathryn
PS There is a name for stuff, I think, that you grow for what it produces
as a root. I'm brain dead and can't think of it. Sorry.
