Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
All,
I got the following post ''off line'':
Can you post the planting grid you have used for glads and hops etc.?
I'm updating a list I found on the web with grids and spacing intervals
for the more unusual plants, and I *love* glads and hadn't thought of
growing any in a sqft garden (yet) but now that you've mentioned it I
have to start some ASAP!
In response - gladioli I plant the same as onions - about four inches
apart. As they are tall they need to go somewhere 'near the back'.
Hops I have not grown - only seen grown as I said I saw them at the RHS.
Be advised that they were growing a new *dwarf* variety - I forget the
name. The old varieties grow to twenty plus feet - that would give your
trellis a real workout!
Regards
Brian
