Hi Kim, I have a pressure regulator on my soaker hoses. Mine came with
the original soaker hose kit I bought, but I've seen them for sale
separately. Mine is just a threaded unit that goes between the water
faucet and the beginning of the soaker hose line. I have a little
leakage at the junction before the regulator, but not so much that I
feel I'm wasting water. The plastic fittings just don't fit as tight
as metal. But it works. HTH
