Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Hi, the only gardening I've ever really done is raised bed
gardeing. Don't know how I got it into my head, but I tend to think only
in terms of vertical!! Raised beds has many advantages: warms the soil
faster, and drains the soil better, are the two biggest advantages. A
raised bed is soil added to a height of at least 4 inches. I try to go for
a foot. I have really rocky soil and need all the help I can get.
You can just add the soil to a spot or build a frame to hold the soil in.
The frame is generally considered to be a personal choice rather than an real
advantage. I like it because it makes the beds neat. The frame can
be built out of almost anything. If you need any other information I can
"dig" some more. This was mostly from the top of my head.
Happy Gardening!
