A temporary fix would be to lay down newspaper or cardboard and cover with sifted soil, mulch or rocks. However this will only last as long as the paper hasn't decomposed. Probably the best bet would be to buy a large bag of garden gravel. This will reduce weeds but not prevent them all. Jess
