Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
What we've found is using newspapers, folded in half, or the empty bags that
50# of wheat comes in are just about the right width. We dampened them,
then covered them with mulch of some sort. We're fortunate to have a city
system that provides mulch/compost fot $9.00 a ton here. Worked out great,
in the fall, they'll rot and we'll use them as additional soil amendments.
