Hello,
Found this on the web but no luck with "Poindexter.

276-CUBANELLE. 65-68 days. Popular Italian type frying pepper with sweet
flavor. Good for the home garden and fresh market. Fruit 4-6 inches long and
2-1/2 inches wide, smooth, tapered, pointed, thin walled, 2-3 lobed, bright
waxy yellow-green color turning to dark red when ripe. Fruits have a
delicious pungent flavor. The thin walls makes for good cooking. Very tasty
when fried in olive oil. Highly productive plants.

Hello fellow gardeners!

I was given two types of pepper plants. One is a Cubanella
and the other is Poindexter Hot Pepper.

Does anyone out there have any information on these? I have
searched the web with no luck.

The Poindexter is producing long, skinny, curling green
peppers (look like chilis). Will they turn red when ripe? I
picked one green one and took a bite...seriously hot.

The Cubanella has not started producing yet, so I don't have
any idea what they'll look like.

TIA,
Lisa
