Thanks for the clarification.  Your noncapitalized style of writing obscured
from me the fact that you were talking about a named hybrid!  I had read
about 'Gypsy' in a catalog a couple years ago and forgot about it.  Sounds
very well worth trying in '98.

Yes, that's sort of my take on cherry toms, too.  Give me the big hulking
sandwich-sized tomatoes like 'Brandywine' instead.

Gee, I haven't seen enough different determinates listed to form an early,
mid, and late collection of just them.  Indeterminates seem to outnumber
determinates at least 10 to 1 in the catalogs.

If listers have specific suggestions for determinates in the early, mid, and
late categories, please post 'em.
