     And I want to ditto those sentiments as well as sadly report that I 
have just completed what will be my last planting of the year.  December 
is a really lousy month for gardening here in south Louisiana.  Probably 
do my spring stuff sometime around mid-January.  Sowed carrots, turnips, 
mustard and collards.  Pulled a dozen nice sized turnips that I will 
bake for supper.  Have you ever tried them that way?  Just cut the tops 
off and bake them like you would sweet potatoes.  They are absolutely 
delicious - providing you like turnips.
