Hi Holly-

I just wanted to say welcome to sqft gardening!   I am also in Zone 5 in
Indiana and just completed my first sqft garden.  I'm no expert, the best
advice I can give you is to read Mel's book and post your questions here.
 That's what I did and I was very happy with the results and had a lot of
fun!

If you're close to Indianapolis I would suggest going to Altum's to buy any
seedlings in the spring.  They have a wonderful selection.  Much better
condition than any of the other places I have tried.
