re: winter must be closing in

Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
I am soooooooo jealous of all of you.  My tomatoes, cucumbers, squash and beans hit the end of the road in September.  I still have some lettuce growing but not sure how long that will last.  We had a snow in September and another in October.  My spinach is looking a bit frozen and so are my oriental mustard greens.
Our highs are in the 50s or 60s most days now and nights are down into the 30s or even lower.

I am planning on building the cold frame talked about in the list so maybe I can push the lettuce for a bit longer, at least I can start the tomatoes earlier next year and maybe(gasp) have ripe ones before the snow hits.
