Hey ya'll I am a Sq FT gardener in Florida. 50 miles north of Palm Bch. We
call it
Ft Pierce. I have been growing veggies since 1972. I think I was using the Sq
Ft method even back then. Even before I read the book or saw Mel on TV or
PBS.Good years I am zone 10 bad years I am zone 9. My garden is doing great
this year even
after a brief visit by hurricane Irene. I got lucky the plants we all very
small.
Tobacco trays are fine for seedlings but I would not use them for tomato
plants I
beleive there are pathogens associated with tobacco that might effect
tomatoes.
