I think the recent gobletygoop was a "font" that many of our browsers couldn't read. If you opened it, this would soon become apparent. I thought I might go off topic for a chuckle; the attached is from an informal info list- pay attention to what the author says about viruses! %:)

Try: http://www.norton.com And even then, don't forward it. We don't
care.
And you cannot get a virus from a flashing IM
or email, you have to
