Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
In a message dated 99-11-28 07:17:16 EST, you write:
<< So now he is thinking that if he kills it
all with Roundup first, that he'll have an easier time ripping it out. I'm
not convinced that it would be easier ripping it out if it were dead than
if it were alive. Further, I haven't done my research on Roundup and don't
know if it will make my two-year-old grow a third arm out of his forehead. >>
I wouldn't use Round-Up for many reasons, mostly because you would be using
something that kills plants on an area that you want to grow plants, but also
because it is made by Monsanto. For some good info on Monsanto I suggest
checking out the organic gardening list, even if you choose to go the chem
route in your garden, although, in this day and age, I'm not sure why you
would do that.
