Did your tomatoes make it through the frost? What method are you using to
stake the tomatoes. That determines what you do to protect them. I use tomato
guard wrapped in a circle about 18 inches in diameter. The tomato vines wind
their way in and out of the tomato guard for support. In the fall I wrap the
circle of tomato guard with plastic leaving the top open and secure with
clothes pins. In this way I have delicious tomatoes through November with
very little effort.
Lorrie (In Vermont - where snow has fallen on Killington and I have not yet
had my first frost. Go figure.)
