Re: sunflower harvest


A friend of mine puts paper bags - large ones - over the flower heads to
keep the birds from getting the seeds and waits for the seeds to 'cure'
on the plant.  Cut the stem below the bag tie and shake the seeds out
into the bag!  Nature does it better (the drying).
