Lorrie,
I like em fresh (not salted or roasted)...clip off the head, brush
away the dry old flower parts, pluck out the seeds, crack the shell
open and enjoy. Just like popcorn! If the head is too fresh and
moist set it aside to dry a week(they will keep for over a year).
You'll be amazed at how few people have ever seen a full head of
sunflower seeds!
