Maybe the rest of us just aren't quite as intelligent and as well-informed
on contemporary computer systems and programs as you are, Mr. Cross.
Could you explain, in simple, peasant-like terms, so we could understand,
why you think the Year 2000 won't be a problem...maybe even a survival problem?
For the benefit of the entire list--so we won't commit a future error--could
you explain what questions in my post were off the topic of Square Foot
Gardening?
In the eight years I've been on the Internet I never fully realized why
people get so upset over Cross posting. Now I understand.
Cross posts are never on topic.
Cross posts are usually posted by someone clueless.
Cross posts are often 'ad hominem' attacks; not cogent, focused responses.
Thanks to all the _other_ respondants who stayed on-topic and answered my
questions in a helpful manner. I appreciate your thoughts.
I never wanted to be wrong until I discovered the Year 2000 Problem.
[I've responded separately to a dozen or so folks who asked for Year 2000
URLs. If I missed you let me know and I'll pass them along. Thanks for asking.]
