It's a type of chard that's called Perpetual Spinach because of the shape and taste of the leaves. I'm not sure if New Zealand Spinach is the same thing. All I know is it grew in a part of my garden that wasn't often hit by the sprinkler, it got lots of sun, and it NEVER bolted. I got the seeds from Cook's Garden, in Vermont. (New London, I think.) Melissa PS It also had no pests that I could see, and although a couple of leaves got yellow here and there, and a few minor holes--no disease either! A dream vegetable! :) *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe, send to: listserv@umslvma.umsl.edu the body message: unsubscribe sqft See http://www.umsl.edu/~silvest/garden/sqft.html for archive, FAQ and more.
