Mike Milner said he has "encless amounts of kelp" available near his seaside
home in South Africa and wondered if it could be used to improve the soil
medium in his future sqft beds.
You bet, Mike. My friend Bargyla Rateaver, Ph.D., over on the Agrisynergies
list, thinks that seaweed is just The Best soil amendment.
In view of the rest of Mike's post, he might want to sign up for
Agrisynergies, too. Clarence Walker, the sysop of that relatively new List,
initially announced himself here on the SqFt List and several of us migrated
over there, too. The concept of growing enough food to become close to
self-sufficient comes up frequently there.
I think Clarence is a reader here, too. Clarence, if you're with us, how
about reposting to the SqFt List the directions for subscribing to
Agrisynergies?
