I am still planting starts that I grew from seed. Today I planted a bunch of onions and fava beans for over wintering. I also broadcast a bunch of buckwheat seeds for a cover crop. I have carrots, radishes, beets, celery, lettuce, kale, collards and cabbage which I planted 4-12 weeks ago. I will cover at least one of my 6 x 4 beds with clear plastic over pvc hoops (worked great last year for a cold frame). I have yet to plant my garlic bulbs because I can't decide where to put them, plus I still have several spring sown crops growing (pole beans, peppers, cucumbers, salsify, luffa ). I am wondering if anyone else is still planting seeds? I thought I would try to see how long I can harvest in my zone 5 environment. Right now I have snow peas, lettuce, radishes, carrots, cilantro, basil and broccoli growing from seeds I planted in the last 3 weeks or so. My goal is to see if I can make it through Christmas. Would love to hear from others!
