I have tried repotting herbs from the yard to pots to bring in with little
success.
I have been planting herbs in pots at the beginning of the summer and in
September I just bring
them in, after a good bath.
I have had good luck with sage, thyme and marforam in pots. This year I had
tender lavendar and
basil in pots and have brought them in so far so good.
I have also tried mint for the first time this year. My best have been greeping
ermander and
winter savory they have been in pots in and out for over 2 years now.
I would sugest that if you do tranplant from ground to pot do it early in the
season.
Forget to mention my other sucess is rosemary. I have 3 different varies in a
pot.
One thing DONOT let them dry out or they are a goner.
