Has anyone tried potting pepper plants and overwinter inside.
I did last year, but they did not do any better in the garden then my new
seedlings. I still
think the bad summer did not help. All my pepper plants did poorly. They
flowered to late.
What I do is take 3 of my best plants cut down to 1/2 size and repot in to a
appropriate size pot.
Leave in shed or garage for a few days before bringing in, wash off, then bring
in side. I keep
them under grow lights. One thing I would recommend have something to stop
white flies, I wasted
to long and they almost killed the plants. I use the yellow stickie paper,
which works well.
That stuff sticks to everything.
I keep a supply and change as needed.
