The sage, tarragon, chives, lavendar and thyme will make it nicely indoors.
Forget about the others. Cilantro is an annual that bolts easily, and
biennal parsley is probably pooped out if it's lame. Use soil-less mix
(found at Lowe's or Home Depot) and start with clean pots. You can do a
little root pruning and prune the tops, too. Place in a very sunny window
or under lights. Feed once a month with liquid fertilizer such as Miracle
Gro or fish meal emulsion. If plants start to actively grow, feed every two
weeks. Be sure to keep soil evenly moist--that means don't let it dry out,
but don't drown it either. Best guage is to stick your index finger into
soil up to the second joint. If finger tip finds dry soil, water. It's a
good idea to spray plants with soapy water or an insecticide before bringing
them indoors to dislodge pests. If you have a whitefly invasion or aphids
indoors, use soapy water spray or get a pitcher plant. They love to munch on
the pests. I have one indoors and it does a wonderful job of keeping down
the insect population on house plants.
